Some Interesting Shots!!!
WE travelled from Hermanus today, to a small city by the name of George!
Staying in a very nice 4* guest house again - can't believe how inexpensive really good accomodation is here! Our friends are staying with a lady friend of theirs.
Tomorrow we go to an ostrich farm - big question is whether to ride or not!! Fast and large - looks of them, which we saw on a lot of farms as we drove today, kinda makes me question the notion of riding them, but what the hell!!! Bigger question is whether I will HAVE to buy an ostrich purse!!! I have already bought a zebra purse (absolutely amazing looking!!!) and another purse with a variety of animals on it - will probably get paint bombed by Green Peace when I get back!!
Also going to a crocodile farm and a place where you can play with white tigers - makes Togo's beak seem rather insignificant!
I've put some photos here that are fun! They all kinda speak for themselves.
The baboons were at Cape of Good Hope - notice the baby clinging to his mother.
Also notice the cute one with green fur at the baboon sign.
If I never post again either an ostrich pecked out my eye, a croc ate me, or the white tiger went nuts on me like the one in Siegfried and Roy did.
Oh, and we have now accumulated (Meg, you know what a super shopper I am!!!)2 original oil paintings - picked by Tom too - to lug home, and a Zulu woven bowl that won't fit into ANY case. Tom is already shithing about our flight from Piot Elizabeth to Durban at the end of the week. I've told him by then I will have learned how to carry things on my head like the black women do here, so no problem.
